The purpose of this study is to describe the stages of concern of the lecturers of Batu Lintang Teachers' College with reference to the implementation of KBKK. A total of 67 lecturers participated in the study comprising 61.47% of the population. Using a survey methodology, the stages of Concern Questionnaire (SoCQ) was used to collect data on the respondents' SoC. The findings suggests that as a whole, the respondents showed 'a normal, interested group who is interested in learning more about the innovation from a positive proactive perspective'. However, the study also suggests that there is potential resistance as the results showed significant tailing-up in Stage 6. This suggests that the respondents have many alternate ideas regarding the innovation. The study also suggests that experience in teaching KBKK as measured by the number of years in teaching the innovation and the number of KBKK courses attended by the respondents does affect the concerns of the respondents (respondents moving from lower to higher stages as they acquire more experience). The study recommends that intervention measures should be carried out by first looking at the SoC of the respondents and that Fullan's 4 kinds of change should be used as a guide to the intervention measures.
